We are pure Being, pure consciousness, and ALL reality is in this way of putting it a "spiritual" reality. Eros, sensuality, and even sensitivity are of a "higher" more refined and subtle spiritual order than sexuality - which is the most unrefined, external and "gross" level of spirituality. All is spiritual yes, but "there are levels to this sht" as the kids like to say today. "Agape" (uh-GOP-eh) is an even higher level of spirituality that is the Christian version of "divine love" as in Gods love for us and our love for God. I think of this as "unconditional" love and compassion. Then there is the final or ultimate expression of love or "level of spirituality" which is Divine Union, Samadhi, full Enlightenment. There are not just levels per se but also progression or evolution of ones consciousness and ones very being as you can see. When we speak of "celibacy" what we are really speaking of is that **progression** or evolution (development) of consciousness. "Loss of semen" is the outer most and least important signal of spiritual immaturity. None the less it is a signal. The idea however is to evolve or progress upward, to become more sensual and not as "sexual" in one's focus. And then to progress beyond sensuality and eroticism to love and compassion. Until ultimately one's consciousness is not self centered at all. Then that becomes heroic love which is boundless recognition that you are each and ALL. ❤🙏
